Psychedelic Therapy Preparation and Integration
Psychedelic assisted therapy, once practiced extensively prior to the 1970’s, has reemerged as an exciting path for self-discovery, growth, trauma healing, relationship deepening and spiritual awakening. Many people are drawn to explore and experience traditional plant-medicines such as psilocybin mushrooms, ayahuasca and DMT along with more recent medicines such as Ketamine and MDMA. These psychedelic medicines, properly supported through psychedelic preparation and integration, have been shown through an increasing number of research trials to offer significant relief for depression, trauma (both PTSD and complex childhood trauma) and addiction to name a few. These medicines may help offer new clarity and direction when other approaches have fallen short.
I have significant training and experience helping people assess if psychedelic assisted therapy is a viable alternative to other forms of therapy or even a complementary path to other therapies that one might already be pursuing. And although I don’t offer or directly participate in the administration of illegal or controlled substances, I can help those who are curious learn more about this exciting approach. And for those who decide to explore a psychedelic journey I can provide guidance, help you prepare for a safe and effective experience and establish intentions for a meaningful outcome.
Equally important, I can help with the critical process of psychedelic integration. Many people have meaningful psychedelic experiences, see new possibilities and gain hope, but it is in the follow-up integration work where the long-term value of the experience is created. We can work together to understand how to make full use of your experience in order to make meaningful change happen in your life.
